School Cents, developed by Lindale Mall, is intended to assist area schools with funding for their programs in need. During the School Cents program, fifteen area High Schools compete to accumulate points towards $25,000 in prize money from Lindale Mall. Points are accumulated when customers turn in receipts thereby "voting" for their favorite school. Every dollar spent at Lindale Mall from October - December is worth 10 points for your favorite school, with options to earn additional points on specified weekends. Cash prizes are awarded at a Midway Ceremony in November ($5,000) and the Final Awards Ceremony held in January ($20,000). School Cents is sponsored by The Gazette, KWWL and Mix 96.5.

The Arc serves our community by providing advocacy and services, which help people with developmental disabilities and their families choose and realize their goals in life. They work to reduce the incidence of developmental disabilities through education and public awareness.
In 2001, Lindale Mall began a partnership with The Arc by hosting the annual Buddy Walk, now known as Arc March, and building on that relationship in 2003 by hosting and sponsoring The Arc's "Wrapping For a Cause" Christmas gift-wrap.
